PROFOUND LEADERSHIP LESSONS FROM SHRI RAM

  1. Ram collaborated with like-minded people to support his mission: After Ravana kidnaps Sita, when Ram starts His search for Sita, He meets Hanumana. Through Hanumana, He meets Sugreeva. Ram believed in collaborating with like-minded people to accomplish His mission.
  1. He believed in His team and kept them motivated: Ram did not have a team of skilled warriors. Compared to Ravana, His team did not have much weapons either. But Ram trusted His team and kept the team members motivated. His team even built a bridge over the ocean water. Everyone participated in that task with enthusiasm.
  1. He assigned people jobs as per their expertise and gave them full credit for it: Hanuman was sent to find Sita, Nal-Neel were key players in building the bridge to reach Lanka. Every team player contributed and was given due credit and recognition for it. Ram was the guiding force, but he made his team members shine.
  1. He expressed love and emotions & didn’t mind being vulnerable in front of His team: When Sita was abducted, Ram was sad and expressed that sadness. When Laxman gets unconscious during the battle, Ram shows His vulnerable side. He expresses love for Hanuman, Sabri and many other devotees. He is loving and expresses that love.

What a leader!!
